Are you Looking for Something More to Life?

Now that you're listening, we want to know if you're seeking spiritual betterment. In Scientology, the concept of God is expressed as the Eighth Dynamic—the urge toward existence as infinity, as God or the Supreme Being. As the Eighth Dynamic, the Scientology concept of God rests at the very apex of universal survival.

Science of Survival

In his book Science of Survival, L. Ron Hubbard wrote:
“No culture in the history of the world, save the thoroughly depraved and expiring ones, has failed to affirm the existence of a Supreme Being. It is an empirical observation that men without a strong and lasting faith in a Supreme Being are less capable, less ethical and less valuable to themselves and society....A man without an abiding faith is, by observation alone, more of a thing than a man.”

Scientology seeks to bring one to a new level of spiritual awareness where he can reach his own conclusions concerning the nature of God and what lies in store for him after his present lifetime. Thus, like many Eastern religions, salvation in Scientology is attained through personal spiritual growth and enlightenment.

As one’s level of spiritual awareness increases through participation in auditing and training, he attains his own certainty of every dynamic and, as he moves from the Seventh (Spiritual) Dynamic to the Eighth, will come to his own conclusions concerning the nature of God (or the Supreme Being or infinity) and his relationship to that dynamic.

Scientology is transparent, accessible and open to all. Like all true religions, Scientology is part of the mainstream of society. Churches of Scientology are located in city centers on every continent, including every country in Europe. With the current program of opening new churches in virtually every major city worldwide, the Church of Scientology is continually increasing outreach actions to let people know about Scientology and answer their questions.

The Church aims to have an open door for everyone to tour Scientology churches and find out for themselves. Every new church contains a multimedia exhibition with dozens of films displaying Scientology beliefs and social betterment programs. The materials that make up Scientology Scripture are broadly published, widely promoted and available to anyone. Churches and missions are open to the public seven days a week.

Scientologists come from all walks of life, ranging from teachers to businessmen, doctors, housewives, attorneys, engineers, nurses, construction workers, celebrities, marketing and administrative personnel, secretaries, athletes, civil servants and virtually any other pursuit.

  1. I once went on a date with a scientologist. After a nice dinner, he asked if we could drink a bottle of wine at my house. "Sure" i said, "but how are you going to get home?" (he had borrowed his car from his roommate who was currently at the church down the street, he dropped me off to return it to her and get a ride back to my house) "Do i have to?" he asked.

    "uh... yea."

After some hanging out with my wingman girlfriend that i called over, we took him home. He asked us to drop him at the 7-11 by the Deja Vu. I gave him a hug and thanked him for the date. "well are you going to kiss me?" he asks. "Uh, no."
"well i took you out to dinner. You owe me."

That is no April foolin'. This is my life.
